How to Add FAQs to Pages in AfterShip Page Builder
Overview
Running an online store has never been easy because shoppers always have questions before and after making a purchase. It keeps you busy where you don’t want to be.
AfterShip Page Builder lets you add FAQs to your website pages so you can answer general queries of customer without them reaching the customer support.
Steps to add FAQs
1. Old editor
- Go to any of your pages in the AfterShip Page Builder admin
- Go to Custom pages. Click the {...} icon and select Edit. You will land on the page editor
- Click Add section. Go to Basic section and choose FAQs from the list of options
- You will see two sections Text and Blocks
Text: Give a title to your FAQs section which will be displayed to the website visitors
Blocks: Add questions along with answers
- Add questions in the Header and answers in the Description field
- You can also add a link if you want to
- You can change the font size and make it bold if you like
- To add additional questions and answers, click Add block
- You can delete your added question blocks by simply tapping on the Trash bin icon
- You can drag-and-drop to change the order of your added blocks
- Tap on the Update live page button to let your FAQs go live on your page
2. New Editor
If you are creating a page from the scratch or using one of our pre-built templates, here is what you have to do to add FAQs to your pages.
- Select any of the pages you wish to edit or create
- Once you land on the page editor, click Add section and then select Add a blank section
- Click Add elements and from the list select Accordion
- You will see two sections Settings and Blocks
Settings: Select the checkbox if you want the answers to the questions to expand by default
Blocks: Add questions along with answers.
- Add questions in the Header and answers in the Description field.
- You can also add a link if you want to
- You can change the font size and make it bold if you like
- Tap on the *Save and publish button to let your FAQs go live on your page
Accordion settings on the page
- You can change the position of the Accordion on the page by clicking the [::] icon and dragging and dropping the section where you want to on the page
- You can copy the Accordion section by clicking the copy icon
- You can also delete the section by clicking the trash bin icon
