How to Publish Pages Created via AfterShip Page Builder for Shopify Themes 2.0?

Overview

Shopify’s theme store has always been appreciated by merchants, as they get multiple options to choose from to make their store look attractive.

Owing to this, Shopify has come up with themes 2.0 to offer more customization options. However, themes 1.0 are more compatible with apps like AfterShip Page Builder, therefore they are easy to use as compared to 2.0 ones. So, let’s find how you can publish pages created via AfterShip Page Builder:

✍️ Steps to keep in mind

Note that you don’t have to make changes regarding the home page, so put your focus on other pages like collection, product, blogs, etc.
  • Publish your pages on AfterShip Page Builder

  • Go to your Shopify store's theme editor page and switch from the 'Home page' to the one in which you want to make changes. For instance: We’ve chosen ‘Blog posts’ section to make our blog post page live.

  • Now, you will see your options regarding the created pages in the form of automizely.xxxxxxxx

Here, the xxxxxxxx represents the initials of the page URL. Let's assume your blog post page URL is https://page-builder.automizely.com/blog-post/editor/470a48f2de1f4d2d9f7dbeef8b3568e9, you'll see this option automizely.470a48f2.

  • So, select your page and then hit the ‘Save’ button to finish the process

➡️Key information

  • Default product detail/default collection detail cannot be edited via AfterShip Page Builder. You can only modify them through Shopify admin only

  • If you select the 'Specific products' option while creating a product page, you will see an option in this form automizely.xxxxxxxx. In case you select 'All products' option, you don't have to make any changes on the Shopify's theme editor page as they will go live automatically. ++ The same goes for 'Collection pages' as well ++
